As summer winds down we're excited for the arrival of fall and all the beautiful plants and decorations it brings! Cooler weather, football, fall festivals, and decorating with pumpkins, corn stalks, gourds, and vibrant plants like mums, pansies, crotons, and asters are just around the corner.
Here’s a handy list of garden tasks to tackle this month:
Garden To-Do List for Fall
Plant:
- Flowers: Marigolds, Stock, Petunias, Alyssum, Dianthus
- Roses: New rose bushes
- Perennials: Various perennials for long-term growth
Vegetable Gardens:
- Cold Weather Vegetables: Plant veggies suited for cooler temperatures
- Seeds: Sow seeds for fall crops
Sow:
