Super Blue Lavender

SuperBlue is a compact and fragrant lavender plant that grows to about 12 inches tall. It’s perfect for edging walkways or planting in patio containers. This English lavender is tough, able to handle drought, and can overwinter well in all but the coldest regions. It produces rich, dense blooms with fewer gaps, giving you more vibrant color.

Goodwin Creek Lavender

Goodwin Creek is a French hybrid lavender with a dense mound of finely toothed, silver-grey leaves and long, slender, dark purple flower spikes. It thrives in heat, sun, and occasional drought, making it ideal for sunny perennial borders, rock gardens, raised beds, or containers.

Uses and Care:

  • Potpourri & Sachets: Well-dried flowers keep their scent for a long time. Harvest leaves and flowers just before they fully open for the most vivid color when dried.
  • Harvesting: Cut blooming stems in the morning after the dew has evaporated, when the humidity is low. This is when the oil content in the blossoms is highest.
  • Drying: Hang stems in bunches in a dry, airy place or use drying racks if the temperature is high (90°F or above is best). Once fully dry, strip the flower heads from the stems to use in sachets or potpourri. Store dried flowers in an airtight container. For flower arrangements, keep the stems intact. When stems are still pliable, you can weave them into wreaths, lavender wands, or lavender rope
